Dr.
Samuel Lee Hancock, CM, is President of  Advanced
Construction Systems, International Ltd., Richmond, Virginia
USA. Dr. Hancock
has been actively engaged in the research and development of the most
energy efficient, faster built, and cost competitive residential and
commercial projects for over 10 years.
This effort started at the request of the DAIICHI KANGYO BANK, Kofu
and Tokyo, Japan.
Dr.
Hancock has been a national leader in the research and development of most
advanced panelized construction systems in concert with incorporation of
other proven and progressive technologies, methods, and materials.
He is actively engaged in research with VIRGINIA'S CENTER FOR
INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY and the VIRGINIA TECH WOOD SCIENCE and CIVIL
ENGINEERING Schools- to bring more highly earthquake and hurricane
ACSI provides the 'highest
quality,  structural
insulated panels (ACSI-SIPS) in the residential and commercial
construction industry. Professional architectural services, framing
materials, energy efficient doors and windows, on-site training to new contractors
"turnkey" construction, interior design, and franchises
available.
Dr. Hancock has
a doctorate from VIRGINIA TECH, Blacksburg, Virginia and is a
"Certified Professional Manager" through the INSTITUTE OF
CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL MANAGERS located at JAMES MADISON UNIVERSITY,
Harrisonburg, Virginia. He is
currently member of the Board of Directors of V.H.E.R.O. (Virginia Home
Energy Rating Organization), is a N.H.E.R.O. (National Home Energy &
Resources Organization) certified "Home Energy Rater", and an
instructor for VIRGINIA POWER's "Energy Efficiency University"
program. Dr. Hancock is a member of the GREATER RICHMOND CHAMBER
OF COMMERCE, CHESTERFIELD BUSINESS COUNCIL, the Corporate Advisory Board,
LONGWOOD COLLEGE SCHOOL OF BUSINESS & ECONOMICS, and "Advisory
Board" member of COMMONWEALTH BANK and he is a graduate of the
LEADERSHIP METRO RICHMOND Program and served with The Honorable Jim
Gilmore, Governor, "Transition Team" specifically focusing upon
housing, workforce development, international trade, tourism, minority
business development, and high technology financing issues. |
